Blood Syndicates Domain·Six playable Factions

Which Syndicate ambitions will you serve?

Your Faction dictates your starting force, unlocks unique Models, Abilities, and Facilities, and shapes the development path of your House. Every Syndicate draws from a common pool of Core units while offering its own distinct playstyle.

The Nightstrings sigil. A clawed hand suspending strands of blood.

The Nightstrings

Hemorphia · Hemamorph Constructs

Masters of Hemorphia, this Faction shapes living blood into weapons and expendable servants. Their Holdings teem with Vats and hidden Chambers of Silence, while fallen enemies fuel the creation of fresh Bladgrinz on the battlefield. Necrosouls and Ghul Constructs are rare among them, for they favor blood over dead flesh, and every act of sanguine mastery risks violent backlash.

Faction Perks

• Starts with a Vats Facility in addition to a Nightquarters Facility. • Chamber of Silence Unique Facility. • Spawns temporary Bladgrinz Models directly onto the field mid-combat. • Risk: Sanguine Hemorrhage Ability critical failures.

The Bloodrose sigil. A rose enclosed by an organic ring.

The Bloodrose

Phaging · Predatory elegance

Many are beguiled by the exquisite elegance of Bloodrose members, foolishly mistaking them for harmless or playful attendants. Yet this alluring appearance is merely a meticulously crafted facade. Beneath their striking beauty lurks an apex predator. As one of the oldest Houses, the Bloodrose possesses the rare talent of phaging, an uncommon gift that enables them to shrug off wounds that would spell demise for most others.

Faction Perks

• Starts with a Dormitory Facility in addition to a Nightquarters Facility. • Chamber of Devotion Unique Facility. • Nobless keyword Models are immune to critical damage from ranged weapons. • Risk: Phage Instability Ability critical failures.

The Scarlet Moon sigil. An open crescent moon trailing drops of blood.

The Scarlet Moon

Bloodforging · Ranged firepower

As the most commercially driven Faction, the Scarlet Moons view humanity with an attitude other Syndicates see as, at best, naive and, at worst, downright contemptible. Though they remain neutral and trade with all syndicates, their mercantile focus should not be mistaken for vulnerability; they represent one of the most heavily armed forces in the realm, fielding powerful ranged weaponry and unleashing destructive power.

Faction Perks

• Starts with a Sanguine Chambers in addition to a Nightquarters Facility. • Redforge Chambers Unique Facility. • Model Luminaries and Faction equipment bonuses increased. • Risk: Bloodlash Ability critical failures.

The Crimson Reign sigil. A sword passing through an eye, enclosed by an organic ring.

The Crimson Reign

Martial · Ruthless strength

Rarely is the Crimson Reign spoken of lightly, for even the slightest provocation can provoke a bloody response. Though many see this lethal code as mere barbaric cruelty, it stems from the profound, fanatical devotion bound to the Crimson Reign Creed, where individual power is honored and respected. Survival of the fittest shows its true meaning.

Faction Perks

• Starts with a Nightquarters Armory Upgrade in addition to a Nightquarters Facility. • Chambers of Defiance Unique Facility. • Dreadsworn and Nightblades Model limits and stats enhanced. • Risk: Overheat Ability critical failures.

The Blackthorn sigil. A skull enclosed by a ring of thorns.

The Blackthorn

Thanaturgy · Necrosoul Constructs

Forged through relentless treachery, the Blackthorn endured and adapted in the brutal era following the Syndicate's inception. Though held in contempt by rival major Factions, they spent centuries perfecting their mastery over Thanaturgy. Despised as they remain, governed by a monarch with less than 3 centuries of rule, few dare to challenge their devastating prowess on the battlefield and their Necrosoul Constructs.

Faction Perks

• Starts with a Crypts Holding Facility in addition to a Nightquarters Facility. • Chamber of Souls Unique Facility. • Duskwarden Model enhancements and empowered Deadpool ability mechanics. • Risk: Vortex Rebound Ability critical failures.

The Mortician Syndicate sigil. A flowing central form enclosed by an organic ring.

The Mortician Syndicate

Fleshcraft · Ghul Constructs

It is often said that a razor-thin margin separates absolute madness from brilliant genius, a sentiment that perfectly captures the essence of the Morticians. Master sculptors of living flesh, they reshape subjects into terrifying battlefield abominations. They occupy a contentious position among rival syndicates, equally revered and reviled for their profound mastery of human and kin physiology.

Faction Perks

• Starts with a Flesh Ward Facility in addition to a Nightquarters Facility. • Chamber of Flesh Unique Facility. • Ghulgard, Vennetrix, and Ghul Constructs stat and trait bonuses. • Risk: Bio Rejection Ability critical failures.

The Retinue

Made for the battlefield.

Choose from 6 Model Classes to fill your ranks with Nobless, Strigga, and Dhampir Vampires, or deploy their unique Constructs: Necrosoul, Ghul, and Hemamorph, across 7 Model Types: Troop, Raider, Vanguard, Elite, Inner Circle, Leader, and Monster.

Isometric Law

In the world of World(s)End, tactical combat is lightning-fast, and the magic laws governing reality are brutal and absolute. By using their own life force, models can harness powerful abilities to change the course of battle.

Explore the Isometric Law

Casting abilities strains reality itself. In this game, magic isn't restricted by "mana points"; it is limited by how much fracturing your characters and reality can withstand. Every dice result of 1 or a failure during an ability cast roll increases the Isometric Law counter by +1. Starting at 0, if any Model causes this counter to reach or exceed 3, 7, or 12, that Model must roll 3d6 and consult the table.

At 3 and 7, the player who triggers the threshold rolls 3d6 for an effect. At 12, both players roll, and the counter resets. Each Fracture can disrupt Models, equipment, or the flow of battle and can alter conditions across the battlefield. Effects may be temporary or leave lasting consequences for the Game.

Power has a price. Each Faction has a unique Critical Failure

Violent Feedback: If a character rolls multiple "1"s simultaneously, reality snaps. The character takes immediate, un-saveable damage, risking permanent mutation or instant death.

See a consequence from the beta rules

As their physiology violently tears open, the caster instantly suffers D2 Damage. Furthermore, with their form enduring an agonizing, chaotic process of rapid scarring and knitting, the caster receives a -1 penalty to Reflex through the end of the following round and is prevented from using regeneration throughout the following round.

Ranks, Traumas, and Losses

Survivors gain experience. The wounded can carry physical and psychological trauma into later battles.

Your House Retinue earns rank points with each game, letting them choose a trait with each new advancement. At the same time, those incapacitated during battle can be lost or carry physical and psychological trauma, changing how they play for the rest of the campaign.

Mutation & Evolution

Develop new forms and mutations. Without the facilities to contain them, evolved creatures can escape.

Explore the details

Instead of ranking advancement, some Models can use points to progress their evolution. With enough evolution points, they can unlock powerful mutations or evolve into even more formidable creatures, making them increasingly challenging opponents. However, tread carefully! Without the right facilities to contain them, they will easily escape and vanish into the wild.

Episode 1: Gods Are Dead

Blood Syndicates · Six factions · 30+ Models · 7 Types of Models · 6 Classes · 7 Classes of Abilities with 4 Tiers · Character & Models Customization · 12 Unique Scenarios · 16 Campaign Ending Outcomes

A House that connected the Syndicates has been reduced to ashes. Its destruction severs a network of information and trust, turning old grievances into open hostilities. Your weakened House must find a way to survive the struggle that follows.

Read the opening story

Beneath the shallow pride of false kings and deceitful self-proclaimed saviors, deep in the area spared by battle and conflict, a House once thought to be a sanctuary for all Syndicates was discovered one day, reduced to ashes, with no witnesses or survivors to tell the tale. The House's position and ties to other major Houses made it a hub for information and exchange between Syndicates. The collapse of this network spawned a surge of misinformation and rumors. Shadows of doubt quickly spread through every house's halls. Long-standing distrust and resentment emerged, providing Houses the perfect excuse to openly engage in violence against one another. What began with accusation and suspicion rapidly escalated into a struggle for power and control, one that threatens to shatter the centuries-old foundations upon which the hidden Syndicates were built. While a new threat rises in the east, Houses, old and new, perish with each passing day as hostilities continue to mount. Will you emerge victorious, or will you simply become another record?
